MOBILE COMMAND POST: ADAPTABLE AND AGILE SOLUTION FOR THE ARMY’S MODERNIZATION REQUIREMENTS
The U.S. Army's command post capability requirements are shifting from large tent-based solutions to smaller, mobile command posts that are agile, and equally effective. This modernization effort ensures command posts won’t become an easy target for enemies.
In response to this need, BERG Manufacturing and HDT Global developed a Mobile Command Post that can house 13 to 18 operators and contains all the required mission command capabilities—including smart tables, chairs, monitors, projectors, and network and server integration. The hard-sided, expandable solution can be mounted on a trailer or vehicle, making it mobile when needed and standalone when not.
In addition to fulfilling the Army requirement, BERG offers customizable solutions to solve additional obstacles soldiers on the ground experience. From flexible monitor configurations to moving the network cables from the floor to the walls and ceiling, most aspects of the configuration can be tailored.
