WARRIOR EXPO TERMS & CONDITIONS

Warrior Expo is not open to the general public. This event is intended for military, federal, state and local government agencies, law enforcement, first responders, qualified defense or government contractors, exhibiting partner suppliers/manufacturers, and their guests.

Access is not permitted without official government-issued identification. Military and government guests must present official ID. Civilian guests must present a valid drivers license or other government-issued identification.

Non-exhibiting supplier/manufacturer attendance is by invitation only. On site registration is not permitted at this event for non-exhibiting manufacturers. Contact your ADS representative for more information.

Foreign nationals must pre-register in advance to attend Warrior Expo. ADS conducts background checks on all foreign nationals and may deny entry based on results. Foreign nationals are not permitted to register on site at this event.

General Warrior Expo FAQs

I am a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Personal Security Detail (PSD) professional or Executive Protection (EP) professional. How can I attend Warrior Expo?

Warrior Expo is open to Certified Protection (CPP), Personal Security Detail (PSD) and Executive Protection (EP) professionals who are employed by qualified security, defense and government contractors. Qualified attendees must register online or register on-site through their qualified company.

Sole proprietor CPP, PSD and EP professionals or those affiliated with an incorporated or limited liability corporation with a residential primary address do not qualify to attend. ADS does not conduct business with or ship to sole proprietors, incorporated or limited liability corporations with a residential primary address.

Are retired military allowed to attend Warrior Expo?

As much as we work tirelessly to support the veteran network, the secure nature of Warrior Expo requires “active” classification. For further explanation, please forward your inquiries to eventsteam@adsinc.com.

If I am qualified to attend, can my spouse or children come to Warrior Expo with me?

Qualified attendees are permitted to bring a spouse or children as their guests. Accompanying guests must check in with qualified attendees at on-site registration to receive their badge(s). Spouses and children over the age of 18 must present a valid driver's license or other government-issued identification to gain entry.

Can I attend on behalf of my spouse, parent or friend if they are deployed active military or a member of a qualified organization?

Because of the secure nature of Warrior Expo, all spouses and family members are required to be accompanied by a qualified attendee. Qualified attendees include active duty military, federal, state and local government agencies, law enforcement, first responders, qualified defense or government contractors, and exhibiting partner suppliers or manufacturers.

Accompanied guests of qualified attendees is limited only to immediate family members. Friends must register on their own behalf and meet the qualified attendee criteria.

What is the Warrior Bash Reception?

Warrior Bash is a networking event for exhibiting suppliers or manufacturers, attendees, and their accompanied guests to wind down and exchange ideas. There is no cost to attend. Food, refreshments, and entertainment are included, as well as games and giveaways. Event badges are required at entry.

Who can attend Warrior Expo?

Why should I register in advance?

By registering in advance, check-in will be faster and you'll benefit from first-pick at this year's Warrior Expo t-shirt (while supplies last), and priority access to educational courses. You'll also be automatically entered into a drawing to win cool prizes. The winner will be chosen at random from a list of pre-registered attendees.

Do I qualify to register online?

Online registration is only permitted to active duty military, federal, state and local government agencies, law enforcement, first responders, qualified defense or government contractors, and exhibiting partner suppliers or manufacturers. Non-exhibiting suppliers or manufacturers, foreign nationals and non-qualified: defense, government or security contractors are prohibited from registering online.

When does online registration close?

Online registration closes 48 hours prior to the event start date. However, qualified attendees are able to register on-site through the end of the last day of the show. Military and government attendees must present official government-issued identification. Civilian attendees must present a valid driver's license or other government-issued identification.

Can I register on-site the day of the event?

On-site registration is only permitted for active duty military, federal, state and local government agencies, law enforcement, first responders, qualified defense or government contractors, and exhibiting partner suppliers or manufacturers. Military and government attendees must present official government-issued identification. Civilian attendees must present a valid driver's license or other government-issued identification.

Non-exhibiting suppliers or manufacturers, foreign nationals and non-qualified: defense, government, or security contractors are prohibited from registering on-site the day of the event.

Is Warrior Expo open to private defense, government or security contractors?

Warrior Expo is open to qualified security, defense and government contractors. This excludes sole proprietors, incorporated and limited liability corporations with a residential primary address. ADS does not conduct business with, or ship to, sole proprietors, incorporated or limited liability corporations with a residential primary address. Only incorporated or limited liability corporations with a commercial address qualify to attend.

If you are an existing ADS security, defense or government contractor customer or are unsure of whether or not you qualify to attend Warrior Expo, please contact your ADS representative for more information. Otherwise, you may be denied entry based on the conditions above.

How does the Tic-Tac-Toe sweepstakes work?

Warrior East Tic-Tac-Toe

ADS, Inc. is proud to announce our Warrior Expo East Tic-Tac-Toe sweepstakes starting Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 0900 EST at the Warrior Expo East, hosted at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. The drawing will be held at 1500 on Thursday, July 13 and 1400 on Friday, July 14, 2017. 

Tic-Tac-Toe:

  • Open To: All Warrior Expo East attendees who choose to complete requirements for participation:
  • Prizes: There will be two (2) winners, who will each receive a prize basket comprised of donations from participating exhibitors. Each basket is valued between $1,000 – $2,000.
  • When: Tic-Tac-Toe will be open for participating during normal show hours.

How:

  • Participants will receive a tic-tac-toe card and must visit participating exhibitor booths to receive a stamp. Participants are eligible to enter the raffle once they’ve gotten enough stamps to complete a “tic-tac-toe” on the card.
  • Completed cards must be filled out with participant’s contact info and turned in to an ADS Warrior Expo Expert at the Information Desk – located in the center of the exhibit floor, attached to the ADS Solution Suite / Lounge.
  • Winners will be drawn:
    • One (1) at the close of the first day of the show (Thursday, July 13) 
    • One (1) at 1430 on the second day of the show (Friday, July 14)

Official Rules

  • The sweepstakes is being conducted by ADS, Inc., a Virginia corporation.
  • Entrants must be 18 years of age or older to participate and must have a valid Social Security number.
  • No purchase necessary for entry.
  • Limit of one entry per person.
  • ADS employees and their spouses are not eligible to participate in this drawing.
  • Odds of winning will depend on the number of entries.
  • Participants may enter in person by filling out a card while visiting various vendors at Warrior Expo East, hosted at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.
  • All entries must be received no later than 1500 on Thursday, July 13 and 1400 on Friday, July 14, 2017. ADS will not accept entries beyond the current drawing date of 1500 on Thursday, July 13 and 1400 on Friday, July 14, 2017.
  • Prize: One prize will be given away at each drawing. Winners will receive a prize basket comprised of donations from participating exhibitors. Each basket is valued between $1,000 – $2,000.
  • Drawing will be held at the Warrior Expo East at 1500 on Thursday, July 13 and 1400 on Friday, July 14, 2017.  The winner will be determined by random drawing.
  • Winners need not be present to win. Winners will be notified by phone and certified return receipt mail within 7 days of the drawing. Winner will also be posted on the ADS website.
  • The prize winner is solely responsible for all local, state, and federal taxes, title, transfer fees, license duties, insurance, and all expenses incurred in claiming the prize. The First Prize winner understands, acknowledges, and agrees that the First Prize winner is receiving a prize and will hereby release and discharge ADS, and any additional sponsors, their employees, agents, officers, directors and legal representatives and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses arising from or caused by the award of such prize, including, but not limited to the payment of any and all taxes that are due.
  • Prize must be claimed within 30 days of drawing. Any unclaimed prize after that date will constitute forfeiture and be transferred to ADS as a donation.
  • ADS, its Board of Directors, and its agents assume no liability for lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, incomplete, illegible, or incomplete entries, which will be deemed invalid and disqualified.
  • The decisions and rules of ADS are final on all matters concerning the sweepstakes.
  • Void where prohibited by law.

Warrior Expo West Widely Attended Gathering (WAG) FAQs

How much does it cost to attend this event?

There is no charge or admission fee for this event. You should seek guidance from your designated agency ethics official (DAEO) as to whether your attendance to this event is permitted under your agency’s widely attended gathering (WAG) rule and obtain any determinations required by such rule or other applicable regulations.

How many anticipated attendees and from which sectors are they?

More than 5,500 invitations will be distributed to individuals from Government, private industry, non-profit organizations, and the media.  We anticipate approximately 3,000 attendees with approximately 55% from the Department of Defense, federal, state and local government agencies, 40% from private industry and 5% from other groups, such as allied international government, non-profit organizations and media. Is this event in the interest of the agency because it will further agency programs and operations?

For more than a decade, the purpose of Warrior Expo has been to showcase the latest industry-leading equipment and services solutions to end users, program managers and procurement specialists that are designed to help them meet their operational requirements as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible. This event also provides quality training and education in both structured classroom environments and open area training and demonstrations. These hands-on and classroom learning opportunities focus on topics related to technology, procurement, professional and personal growth. Will individuals in attendance represent a range of persons interested in a given matter?

The event is structured to represent a broad scope of industry and Government-specific exhibits, educational sessions and demonstrations related to operational equipment, logistics and mission support. We have invited more than 200 key exhibitors from the industrial and manufacturing base that have developed the latest technology to address warfighter capabilities and requirements. Solution categories range from operational clothing and individual equipment (OCIE), C4ISR, medical and expeditionary operations, to unmanned systems technology and special missions such as explosive ordnance disposal (EOD).

Members of DOD, Federal, state and local agencies, first responders, U.S. allied foreign military organizations and government defense contractors will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, as well as hear from, ask questions and be educated by subject matter experts about the latest advancements in operational equipment, logistics support and procurement strategies to support their mission requirements.
