Base-X shelters implement a patented folding frame design and a dual-layer system that makes deployment quick and simple. The system is contained in two durable bags that are easily hand carried. Package one contains a PVC-coated outer cover attached to the articulating frame, and package two contains the inner liner with an integrated floor, electrical wiring harness and air plenum. The system includes the stake kit, wind line kit, mallet and repair kit which fit conveniently into package two.

TEMPERATURE MONITOR SHELTER

Celina’s temperature monitor shelter is designed to quickly and effectively screen individuals with the intention of preventing the spread of COVID-19, all while maintaining 6’ social distancing. This simple design consists of a walk-through shelter with designated areas based on the body temperature of the individual. The thermal camera rapidly scans the body to detect and notify of any abnormal temperatures.

Some of the most common uses include field maintenance and garage facilities, living areas, tactical operations centers, field and turf protection and vehicle access roadways. One-inch portable flooring can withstand ground pressures of up to 80,000 pounds per square foot, while Two inch standard flooring can withstand 47,500 pounds, given a solid sub surface. All flooring sheets can be rapidly installed without the use of tools thanks to self-aligning friction-fit channels molded into each sheet.

BLU-MED ISOLATION FACILITIES

The BLU-MED Response Systems Negative Pressure/Isolation System (BLU-MED NPIS) integrates the BLU-MED shelter system with a negative pressure filtration system, an isolation partition, and a pressure monitor/alarm system. The NPIS system is used with the 20-foot by 32.5-foot BLU-MED shelter. A unique feature of the BLU-MED NPIS is the ability to scale the size of the isolation cell within the shelter. This scalable feature provides a measure of redundancy when caring for smaller numbers of patients requiring isolation. It allows for segregation of potentially infectious patients and noninfectious patients within the same shelter if necessary while maintaining negative pressure throughout the entire shelter.

HEPA FILTRATION SYTEMS

The OpenAire HEPA filter is an affordable alternative to the M98 CBRN filter set when no chemical threat is expected. It affords the same level of protection as the M98 HEPA filter against CBRN particulates and aerosols. As such, it can be installed in radial flow filter housings designed to hold the M98 filter set. The OpenAire HEPA filter works seamlessly with most radial flow filter housings. Because its size matches that of the M98 gas adsorber, it is retained by the gas cover of any US M98 compatible filter housing or NATO STANAG 4447 housing. The OpenAire filter is suitable as a training filter or peace time filter for ventilation.
