Anyone who spends time in the cold knows how dangerous (or even deadly) the elements can be. That’s why you have to be prepared and wear the appropriate purpose-built gear.

A good pair of quality gloves are crucial to avoiding frostbite. You need gloves thick enough to keep you warm but not so thick that it limits your ability to use your hands. Your average pair of mittens isn’t going to cut it.
OR Pro’s™ innovative Cold Weather Glove System (CWGS) was selected by the U.S. Army as their new generation of cold weather gloves. The interchangeable system is comprised of five individual gloves with varying levels of temperature protection and is customizable depending on mission requirements.
Each glove within the system is designed as “no melt, no drip” to protect against rapid heating during combat operations. Each glove can be worn independently or layered to provide scalable protection against a variety of temperatures. Combining elements of the CWGS provides “fast doffing” capabilities or rapid removal for short-term manual dexterity.
The first stage of the CWGS is the base layer FR Liner Gloves. FR Liner Gloves are also the perfect choice for operations in moderately cool environments. Featuring gun-cut construction, leather thumbs and index fingers to provide assured grip and touchscreen capabilities, the FR Liner Gloves are essential to any loadout.
FR Liner Key Features:
The second layer of the CWGS are Convoy Gloves. These durable work gloves with enhanced tactility are designed for all-around tool and weapon handling in cold conditions. Waterproof, windproof and breathable, the Convoy Glove is another needed layer of hand protection.

The Trigger Finger Mitt, or TR Mitt, provides insulating warmth, breathable construction, and waterproof protection, all wrapped into a pair of high-altitude patrol mitts with a trigger finger design. These mittens were designed to withstand extremely cold conditions.

The new Overlord II Gloves were updated from a previous model to improve fit and dexterity, utilizing high-stretch, tactile materials to provide uncompromising control and flame-resistant protection.
