The Optics 1 Integrated Compact Ultralight Gun-Mounted Rangefinder is Picatinny compatible and will range man-sized targets out to 1300m (+/- 1m) and vehicles out to 2500m. That’s thanks to the Vectronix 3013 Module with all lasers operating on the same optical plane.

C2i Advanced Technologies exhibited their Remote Aiming System—Rifle. Essentially, it places a see-through camera in a weapon’s optic. This allows the reticle to be viewed remotely, whether by the Soldier via a monocle, or an arm-mounted screen. This means the shooter can remain behind cover, only exposing the weapon to enemy fire and still effectively engage threats.

The Minimalist Gear Pack (LBX 0321A) looks like a mini three-day pack and it’s intended as a 24-hour pack, but its design is meant to work in conjunction with LBX’s Modular vests and panels. The pack’s overall dimensions of 14.5″H x 11.5″W x 5″D offer two zippered compartments.

Loose ammo can be loaded one round at a time with a simple click, or you can engage the loading arm to expedite the process. The loading arm can handle up to 10 rounds of loose ammo, or ammo in a stripper clip, and the rounds are locked into the mag with a quick push.

Trijicon released the RMR Type 2 which has a variety of new features including a button lockout mode as well as a battery conservation mode, which auto adjusts to ambient lighting conditions (sleep mode) after 16.5 hours of inactivity. Additionally, there are eight intensity settings, including two night vision and one super bright setting. The CR2032 battery will last for four years on brightness setting four, or for five years in dark storage. And yes, it uses the same currently available mounting solutions.

Drifire showed us a prototype of their new Prime Combat Hoodie. While it shares the same design as their cold weather combat hoodie, it’s made from Drifire’s Prime fabric—a lightweight 6.5 oz. fabric with super soft feel and 4-way stretch. You’ve still got a hood, integrated neck gaiter, and thumbhole cuffs.

Beyond was exhibiting the latest iteration of their level A9E (E=Equatorial), which is their Hot Wet uniform. Made from the USSOCOM-validated jungle fabric from Burlington, Beyond has kept the design simple but refined the pocket placement as well as brought the rear vent up just a little.

The event was held at Trijicon’s Crucible Training Facility in Fredericksburg, VA on Friday, June 9 from 0900 to 1400. Attendees with a valid Government ID were given hands-on access to 100+ vendors and thousands of products.
