ADS Inc. wins contract to Supply CTD/Nishati PAM™ Expedition Solar Arrays for USMC ADVANCED INTEGRATED SOLAR PANEL CASE ASSEMBLY (AISPCA)

Virginia Beach, Virginia. July 30  2014:  ADS, Inc. announced today that it has won the contract to supply the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) Advanced Integrated Solar Panel Case Assembly (AISPCA).

ADS, Inc. will use the PAM™ Expedition Solar Arrays (GSA Advantage: Portable Array Module) manufactured by Nishati, Inc. to meet the AISPCA requirements. PAM™ Expedition is a ruggedized, lightweight solar array that packages into a small volume and deploys in minutes. It is designed to maximize solar energy capture, while minimizing weight, size and complexity. PAM™ Expedition provides practical solar energy for expeditionary and remote power.

“The PAM™ Expedition Array represents the most significant advancement in expeditionary energy in the past 30 years” said Jayson Southworth, ADS Business Development Manager, for Combat Support Equipment. The AISPCA award to Atlantic Diving Supply, Inc. (ADS) is a five (5)-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).  The BPA allows for the purchase of up to 2,500 AISPCA units per year through the Government General Services Administration (GSA) Advantage. AISPCA will replace the current USMC Ground Renewable Expeditionary Energy Network System (GREENS) solar panels. AISPCA will also be integrated into future USMC expeditionary hybrid energy systems.
