In times of crisis, it is the responsibility of governments and emergency agencies to communicate critical information quickly and effectively to keep people safe. In order to properly warn and notify populations of a threat of danger, lifesaving alerts must be delivered across multiple channels for emergency mass notification systems.
Critical for mass notification, the Genasys unified platform combines hardware, software and geo-data analytics. This multi-channel capability provides a redundant and resilient mass communications network that can withstand disasters that disrupt traditional communications networks.
Genasys can also automatically tie into cellular carriers and connect to people in a specific geographic area without an opt-in, and its LRAD voice and siren speaker arrays feature solar power, satellite connectivity and battery backup, ensuring continuous operation when telecom and power grids go down.
Geo-Targeted Mobile Alerts
Deliver location-based communications to mobile devices in a defined geographic area with reliability, speed and ease. Deliver SMS, text, email and social media messaging by drawing a polygon around an area on a digital map to select recipients. Geo-Fence an affected area so only those within, or entering into, the boundaries receive alerts and updates.
Activate notifications from a desktop or our mobile app anywhere, any time. Panic button feature allows remote activation with one push. Designed for ease of use and reliability, our interface gives emergency managers control, speed and reliability in alerting.
Genasys Critical Communications software fully integrates with alerting protocols, including IPAWS (Integrated Public Alert Warning System), WEA (Wireless Emergency Alerts) and CAP (Common Alerting Protocols).
Public Safety Notifications
Cloud-based, remotely monitored and activated via IP, fiber, satellite, Wi-Fi, Ethernet or hardwire, Genasys systems are easily configured to provide the most advanced voice broadcast and mobile alert notification solutions available.
In addition to SMS, phone, email, push, social media and CAP, Genasys offers its LRAD state-of-the-art systems for public safety mass notification. LRAD systems broadcast audible alerts and emergency notifications with industry-leading vocal clarity and area coverage. Featuring solar power, battery backup and satellite connectivity, LRAD systems continue to operate when existing power and telecommunications infrastructure goes down.
