Every year, ADS invites key medical equipment & supplies vendors to come spend the day at our headquarters in Virginia Beach, VA, where employees get to see their solutions in action, ask questions, and to learn about new industry trends, technologies and product offerings.
ADS, Inc.'s Medical Training Day provides continuing education opportunities to its employees on real life applications of the products we supply and how they impact the end user.
Highlights from this year's Medical Training Day event include:
- The newest Automated External Defibrillator (AED) from Cardiac Science, the Powerheart® G5, measures the quality of chest impressions and gives live feedback in dual languages! It also determines if
shockis needed and is available in backpackor stand-alone options.
- Synthetic human and canine cadavers by SynDaver Labs. The synthetic cadavers provide various training opportunities ranging from ultrasounds, basic suturing and anastomosis skills to advanced surgical procedures such as chest tube placement, emergency airway management and vascular process. - TrueClot® by Luna Medical was facilitating
onsitehemorrhage control training utilizing their Hemorrhage Training kit, which includes simulated hemostatic gauze, blood simulant concentrate, a latex puncture/bullet wound or laceration/stab wound task trainer and mixing bottles.
i-gel® O2 Resus Pack intended for use in emergency resuscitation and is known for reducing trauma, not requiring needles or syringes, ease of insertion and non-inflating cuff. The NEW i-gel® O2 is unique in that it provides additional supplementary oxygen through a 15mm catheter connection.
