NIKKI WILLIAMS JOINS ADS TO LEAD OFFICE OF COMPLIANCE

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA. May 10, 2017 – Nikki Williams has joined ADS, Inc. as the company’s Director of Compliance and Assistant General Counsel, company officials announced.

Williams comes to ADS from the law firm of Williams Mullen where she was a successful business, regulatory, and tax attorney for the last 20 years. She has extensive experience representing both privately held companies and publicly traded corporations, in a variety of industries, including government contracting, healthcare, automotive, construction, and transportation.

During my time at Williams Mullen, I worked with a wide spectrum of companies across varying industries and learned how to effectively help business leaders achieve their objectives. I have been impressed with the leadership group at ADS since day one. It is a great company, and I am very happy to be a part of the ADS team.

Williams received her B.B.A. in Accounting from James Madison University and her J.D. from the College of William & Mary Law School. Williams is active in the Hampton Roads community where she serves as a member of the Board of Directors for various local organizations, including TowneBank – Virginia Beach. She is also a member of the Virginia Aquarium Board of Trustees and the William and Mary Business Law Review Advisory Board.

ADS created an Office of Compliance to focus specifically on ensuring ADS maintains the highest standards in all business dealings and remains in compliance with all regulations that apply to the company. In her role, Williams is responsible for reviewing company compliance in multiple areas, including regulatory compliance, contractual obligations, and employer guidelines.

ADS is committed to fostering a culture of compliance, so standing up an Office of Compliance was a logical next step to further that commitment. Nikki was the ideal choice to lead this effort. I am confident having her on the team will ensure ADS continues to raise the bar in all aspects of our business.
