Adam Casagrande Receives Top Honor

Our General Counsel and Executive Vice President, Adam Casagrande, has been named one of Virginia’s “In-House Leaders in the Law” for 2019 by Virginia Lawyers Media, publisher of Virginia Lawyers Weekly.

It’s the first time the prestigious annual awards program has recognized in-house corporate counsel, and Adam is among just three in-house lawyers selected statewide for the honor.

The award recognizes lawyers who are “changing the law, serving the community, and changing practice or improving Virginia’s justice system, among other accomplishments.”

“Knowing the caliber of corporate counsel across the Commonwealth, I am sincerely honored to be recognized among the top in-house lawyers by Virginia Lawyers Weekly,” Adam said.

Adam will receive the honor during a special ceremony on Oct. 22 at the John Marshall Hotel in Richmond. Each honoree will also be profiled in a special supplement that will be distributed at the event and included in the October issue of Virginia Lawyers Weekly.

“Since joining ADS, Adam has proven himself as not only an outstanding in-house lawyer, but an outstanding lawyer, period,” ADS CEO Jason Wallace said. “His clear vision of our goals, sound legal advice and deep understanding of our industry has made him a critical player in driving our company’s success and shaping our future.”

Adam joined ADS in the summer of 2016 after 14 years at Williams Mullen, where he served as a partner and member of the firm’s board of directors. He is a graduate of James Madison University with an undergraduate degree in history. Casagrande earned his law degree from the College of William & Mary.
